In the Words of Linus

"And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. And lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were so afraid. And the angel said unto them, 'Fear not: for behold, I bring unto you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the City of David a Savior, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.' And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host, praising God, and saying, 'Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men. That's what Christmas is all about, Charlie Brown"

Well said Linus...Jesus is the reason for the season!
Just a little reminder of what Christmas is really about.  Sometimes I think we loose sight of this, me in particular.  I hope everyone is having a great start to the Holiday Season and a Happy December!

  1. Snoopy is my favorite! And that is my favorite part of the whole movie. I find myself hearing Linus' little voice in my head over the holidays when I start getting a little wrapped up in all the stuff that's not so important!

  2. Girl me too! Especially this year more than ever it seems like (or maybe this is the 1st year i'm actually listening to the little voice ;o). I have really been having to take a step back to remind myself what Christmas is really about.
